Seniors at the Christ the King High School in Lubbock, Texas have been working for two years to raise money for a March 2011 senior trip to Rome
In the past six months, they have worked one fundraiser right after another – most times more than one at the same time.
They have helped with a Family Day (in 104 degrees!), performed services from a Labor Auction, sold breakfast burritos (getting to school very early in the morning twice a month), prepared school dinners for Open House events, helped with serving and clean up for a number of other events (including Tech Night, NHS, shrimp boil), sold pizza during lunch, sold Christmas greenery, made rosary bracelets, auctioned off homemade cakes during football games, made Homecoming mums, garters, and sashes, sold brisket sandwiches and sausage wraps, held a chili cook-off, sold raffle tickets for a rocking chair, and washed, ironed, and sold used uniforms!
We still have a long way to go – can you help?
No donation is too small!

There is still much to come for these tired students.
