As a result, our children are guided along the path to achieving their full potential. The children are empowered to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Our staff works to be faith-filled, dedicated, and knowledgeable in their professions. Furthermore, we strive to meet the individual needs of the children. With this in mind, CtK is sensitive to family issues and encourages parents to fulfill their role as the first educator of their child.

Beliefs

We, as people of God journeying together in faith, believe that:

We are a unique creation of God who unconditionally loves each of us. More importantly educating through the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are the foundations of the Church and CtK. Notably, our staff seek to deepen the faith of their students through the spirit of prayer, shared worship and service to the community.

Our School, as a Christ filled learning community, believes that:

Together with the church and home, proclaim, teach and witness the Gospel through our Catholic education ministry. Thus, we are welcoming, inclusive, compassionate and celebratory. Therefore, we join the parents to raise children with a social morality to strive for peace and justice.

We, as Catholic educators, believe that:

Education taught with diligence and integrity increases knowledge and skills. During which time we also foster a philosophy of education which encourages lifelong learning. With this in mind, professionalism is shown by respecting and preserving the privacy and dignity of colleagues, students, and parents. As a result, we uphold the authority of our school when communicating with the CtK community as a whole.

We, as child focused educators, believe that:

The students receive respected, valued and acknowledged for who they are as unique expressions of the Creator. Students who think and question with integrity grow in learning, personal development, and authentic spirituality. All students learn to the joy the responsibility of developing their capabilities; The students learn best with high and clear expectations and relevant assessments which are authentic and aligned to these expectations.
