Sun., 1/26:  CSW Kickoff Mass honoring our students & teachers as well as parish appreciation at Christ the King Cathedral @ 4:30pm with Bishop Robert Coerver presidingStudents should come in mass uniform.

Mon., 1/27:  Recognition for Catholic Schools Week will be presented by City of Lubbock representative at Morning Prayer.  ‘50s Dress Day including a Sock Hop for PreK – 5th grade students.   

Tues., 1/28:  Parent Appreciation Day – Parents are invited to Muffins with Mom & Donuts with Dad 7:30am-8:15am where NHS, NJHS & HS Student Council representatives will pass out student thank you notes to parents. ADJUSTED MORNING PRAYER TIME TO 8:15am where Awards for Outstanding Citizenship (Pre-K thru 1st grade), 2nd Quarter Honor Roll, and 1st Semester High GPAs (2nd-12th grades) during this morning prayer.  Trojan Spirit Day:  Students can wear any CTK shirt, red & white clothing or present or past years’ spirit shirt that is consistent with school dress code to show their CTK School pride!

Wed., 1/29:     All Students must wear mass uniform for CTK School Science Fair – 4th – 6th presents projects in the morning and 7th – 12th in the afternoon. Winter Open House from 5:30pm-7pm with Science Fair project viewing.  Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser from 5-7pm sponsored by the junior class (Class of 2021).

Thurs., 1/30:  Gear Up Day:  Students can support their favorite sports team (national leagues, college teams, or CTK!) by wearing a favorite t-shirt, jersey, sweatshirt with jeans.  Hats are okay to wear too except during morning prayer or at lunch!  Science Fair results will be announced at Morning Prayer. Student Appreciation Day – grade appropriate special activities to be announced for all students &  No Assigned Homework Night for all students!  Pep Rally @ 2:30pm in the gym

Fri., 1/31:  All-School Mass at 8:15am with 1st Semester Outstanding Students recognition after mass. Students must wear mass uniform. Group pictures in the gym immediately following All-School Mass, and Service Day for jr. high & high school students.  Noon dismissal for all students

Parents & teachers will celebrate all that our teachers & staff do for our students at the Catholic Schools Week Celebration Dinner & Dance PLUS H&S Raffle Drawing to be held at CTKC Family Activity Center at 6:30pm-11pm on Friday night.  Parents can purchase tickets in advance at the school office.
