For the 2023-2024 school year, the CTK Café will once again be open Monday-Friday throughout the school year except when we have noon dismissal. If you need a refresher on how to order lunches, click here for printable instructions: How to Order Lunches.
All lunch orders for the CTK Café should be placed via the FACTS Family Portal (formerly ParentsWeb/RenWeb) lunch system. We strongly urge you use a computer to place your orders instead of a smart phone or tablet. Please note that the cost of hot lunch is $6.00 per day for a complete meal. Ala-carte options are also available. Cafeteria order deadlines are the Friday prior to the menu week. Families can, if they wish, order for multiple weeks at once. Here are the ordering deadlines for the first few weeks of lunches:
- Lunches for 4/8 – 4/12 orders due in FACTS Family Portal on Fri., 4/5 @ noon
- Lunches for 4/15 – 4/19 orders due in FACTS Family Portal on Fri., 4/12 @ noon
- Lunches for 4/22 – 4/25 orders due in FACTS Family Portal on Fri., 4/19 @ noon
- Lunches for 4/29 – 5/3 orders due in FACTS Family Portal on Fri., 4/27 @ noon
- Lunches for 5/6 – 5/10 orders due in FACTS Family Portal on Fri., 5/3 @ noon
- Lunches for 5/13 – 5/17 orders due in FACTS Family Portal on Fri., 5/10 @ noon
If something unexpected occurs and your child does not have a hot lunch ordered & forgets to bring a lunch, the café will provide a hot pocket or ramen noodles for your student so he/she will get to eat. Charge slips for these unexpected occurrences are sent home weekly. Please be sure to return payment for these charges within a week of receiving the charge slip. When a student misses lunch due to illness or attendance at a school-related function, a credit will be issued to the family’s cafeteria account. These credits can be used to purchase extra hot lunch items, ramen noodles, hot pockets, milk, etc.
Working in the CTK Café is great way to get your required service hours in! Volunteers are needed to help in the cafeteria EVERY DAY! Normal work hours are 10am to 2pm, but even an hour or two is a tremendous help when serving our children. If you would like to help throughout the school year during lunches, please contact the CTK Café. Your help is truly a blessing to us as well as your child!
