The South Plains Fair begins next week, and there are still 20 shifts that need volunteers!   This major fundraiser raises a considerable amount of money for the Home & School Association.  Every year 125+ volunteers are needed to fill  all the shifts to run the booth.  It is a great time to fulfill your required service hours while getting to know other parents.  The fair begins with preview night on Thursday, September 19th, and runs through Saturday, September 28th.  Click here for the volunteer sign-up schedule:   Volunteers must by at least 17 years old to work in the booth, and no non-workers or children are allowed in the booth due to safety issues.  If volunteer is a DCHS student, they may not work a shift during school hours.  If you would like to be on the list as a substitute, please contact one of the fair co-chairs listed below.
