All CTK families are required to complete 20 service hours (10 hours for single parents) for the 2018-19 school year. To help you fulfill your requirement, here are some upcoming opportunities and contact information:
Volunteers to work gate & concession stand for home games: contact Kim Morin to volunteer for upcoming games at email@example.com. All CTK parents are welcome to work gate & concession – even if you don’t have a student playing!
Fall Festival, 10/26 – ALL parents are needed to help at Fall Festival! Parents are expected to work at least one shift in your child’s classroom booth. Other volunteer opportunities throughout the evening include help with set-up, clean-up and everything in-between! CTK Garden – There is always help needed in the garden, and it’s a great way to fulfill your required hours. Saturday work days are scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of each month. For October, that is THIS Saturday, Oct. 20th, from 1-3pm. Everyone is welcome to come help with various projects in the garden. If you would like to volunteer in the garden, or would like to provide other support whether it is materials, time, or talents please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

CTK Café – Volunteers are needed daily in the CTK cafeteria from 10:30am-2pm – whether you can work all lunches or just an hour – we can use your help! Contact Marcie Gonzalez in the café at email@example.com or call the school office at 795-8283.
Service Hours Guidelines: We ask that at least half of your required service hours for the year (20 hours for two parent homes & 10 hours for single parent homes) be actual time volunteered at school activities & events. Guidelines for equating service hours for donated items and financial support can be done at the rate of $10-15/service hour turned in (for example, a donated item worth $30 would equal 2 service hours).
Logging your completed hours: To enter completed volunteer hours, log into your family RenWeb account. Click on the “Family Information” section on the left side of the screen. Select the name of the parent who completed the volunteer hours (located in the middle area of the screen), and then click on the “Service Hours” tab in the box to the right of the names’ list. After you select this tab, you will see a summary of hours already entered for the year. To add additional hours, click on the “Add Service Hours” tab and fill out the form including date of service and click on the “Save” button (the “Verified by” section does not need to be completed).
Incomplete volunteer hours will be charged to families at the end of the school year at the rate of $25.00 per incomplete hour.
